Chen-chuan Hsu has taught Chinese at UCSB for over ten years. She has also served on the board and taught at the Santa Barbara Chinese School since 1984. Chen-chuan Hsu was named one of the Local Heroes by Santa Barbara Independent in 2002 for her role with the Santa Barbara Chinese School and for her contribution to teaching Chinese throughout the community for the last decade.
