Chinese Language Program hosted 2025 Bridge: International Chinese language symposium & First Expo of Specialized Chinese programs and Study Abroad Projects on April 19th, 2025. This symposium gathered 54 attendees from the US, China and Japan. We covered many important themes including the development of specialized Chinese teaching and “Chinese +” programs, the application of AI technology in language instruction, and the design of new teaching resources. It also addressed the shifting dynamics of study-abroad programs in the new era, the need for targeted teacher training, and the vital role of cultural exchange in a post-pandemic world. Together, these discussions aimed to foster collaboration and inspire future directions in global Chinese language education.
